After we raised this tunnel by 18”, we installed these zipper doors to access the tunnel from the two ends. They help with ergonomics and efficiency. If they hold up well, we plan to add them to our other caterpillar tunnel, as they work better than the scissor doors.

We conduct a lot of pilot studies on the farm, trying out different techniques and tools to find the ideal solution. We do this with our crop selection, planting, infrastructure, etc. to ensure we’re always improving our operation.
