breaking ground part 6: create pathways and beds

| 4/6/23

We also use the rented BCS to build our beds and pathways. On the back of the tractor, we have a rotary plow attachment. It’s essentially a large drill bit that digs and moves dirt to the side. It’s very useful for removing grass and moving dirt into piles to create the bed shape.

Our beds are uniform in size: each is 50-feet long and 2.5-feet wide. In between beds, there is a 1.5-foot pathway. This system helps work efficiently in an ergonomic space.
