Shosh used the framing gun for the first time on this project. Here, she’s attaching the 2×4 wall studs to the top plate of the wall.

I had to design the walk-in cooler around our garage doors and windows. I decided to include a small bump-out area next to the roll-up garage door, creating a “CSA nook,” for better organization in the cooler.

We used two layers of 2” foam insulation on the walls and ceiling and added an A/C unit with a Coolbot, which is a Wi-Fi-enabled digital temperature controller. This allows us to set and maintain the cooler temperature remotely.
